MATernity Journey
Reducing Stigma, Restoring Hope
This program is dedicated to empowering pregnant and postpartum women who are in recovery or working toward recovery from substance use disorder by providing compassionate, comprehensive care. We strive to eliminate stigma, promote healing, and ensure access to vital resources, including medication-assisted treatment, healthcare, and supportive services, so that every mother has the opportunity to deliver a healthy baby and embrace a hopeful future.
CURRENTLY SERVING THE DEFIANCE AREA ONLY.
Through MATernity Journey, women are connected to a full range of supportive services, including:
• OBGYN care and pregnancy support
• Primary care services
• Guidance in choosing an inpatient or outpatient treatment facility
• Access to prevention programs through Job and Family Services
• Support from family peer specialists
• Parenting classes and education
• Case management and peer recovery support
• Mental health therapy
• Psychiatric care
• Medication-assisted treatment (MAT)
