Crisis Stabilization Unit (Residential Crisis Care)
The Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) is a modern, clean, and therapeutic environment that provides voluntary clients with stabilization. This home-like setting could include administration of psychiatric medications as well as individualized counseling, recreation therapy, peer support, and group therapy. The CSU along with all other Crisis Care services can be used in conjunction with step down services.

23 Hour Observation Unit
We provide up to 23 hours of observation for clients that have an identified need for stabilization while also functioning as a sobering center for clients that may not need hospitalization. Crisis Care will then refer to appropriate community services as needed.
Emergency Services
The Crisis Care team will provide a quick response to an identified Crisis and complete a risk assessment and brief crisis assessment with clients before making a level of care recommendations. We can facilitate less restrictive levels of care if necessary. Our team will also engage in a safety plan with the client and link the client to the necessary services of their choice.
Adult and Youth Psychiatric Urgent Care
Walk in Psychiatric Urgent Care services are available and will allow patients access to a mental health and medical professional without an appointment. Prescribed medications can be obtained the same day and follow up mental health services for continued medication management is also available. Services are covered, regardless of insurance or ability to pay, for all counties in the Northwest Ohio Region.

Mobile Response and Stabilization Services
Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) fills a gap in the continuum of crisis care. Families with youth and young adults up to age 21 who are experiencing difficulties or distress can receive assistance within 60 minutes after contacting MRSS. You may also receive up to 45 days of intensive, in-home services and linkage to on-going support. Services provided by the MRSS team may include: safety assessments, de-escalation, peer support and skill building.
