Zepf Center Installs Temperature Monitoring Solution

Published Thursday, May 21, 2020

In an effort to create a safe environment for its patients and employees and to stop the spread of COVID-19, Zepf Center has installed a Temperature Monitoring System at its Ashland Avenue location. This state-of-the-art system provides a touchless temperature reading for any employee or patient entering the front doors of the facility.

Deb Flores, Zepf Center CEO, states, “As you know, having an elevated temperature is one of the most common symptoms of COVID-19, and the State of Ohio guidance for organizations includes monitoring for fever of those entering our facilities. If the system identifies someone with an elevated temperature, staff can discretely put into action the appropriate protocol for care.” The Ashland location was identified to receive the first system due to the large number of patients (700) being cared for daily.

This is the first temperature monitoring system to be installed at Zepf, with more planned for the agency’s other locations.

Integrated care is the coordination of general and behavioral health care needs in an effort to treat not just the body but the mind.
