Zepf Center Set to Host Diaper Drive

Published Friday, May 15, 2020

Zepf Center is set to host a diaper drive for the families they are privileged to serve on Friday, May 15 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at its Wellness Center, located at 2272 Collingwood Boulevard. The event is taking place during Mental Health Awareness Month and is a collaborative employee engagement effort with the agency’s union, SEIU.

According to the agency’s CEO, Deb Flores, “We are committed to doing everything possible to provide diapers to the families we care for – many of whom are at or below poverty level.  The cost of diapers puts an enormous financial strain on our struggling families who are just trying to make ends meet. All 50 states have seen dramatic increases in the demand for diapers – often doubling or tripling since the beginning of the pandemic. We know that before COVID-19, 1 in 3 US families struggled with diaper need.”

Curbside service will be provided by Zepf Center staff, while observing all social distancing practices. Diaper donations will continue to be collected and can be arranged by contacting hr@zepfcenter.org.

Zepf Center has been a behavioral health leader in the community for nearly 40 years and is prepared to meet the challenges associated with COVID-19 in order to create hope and recovery for the individuals we are privileged to care for. Zepf Center is certified by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) International.
