Zepf Center’s commitment to the recovery needs of our community has never been stronger. The challenges related to isolation during COVID-19 have greatly impacted people in recovery from substance abuse, and according to Deb Flores, Chief Executive Officer at Zepf Center, “You don’t have to suffer in silence if you are struggling with substance abuse during this difficult time.  Zepf Center is here to help and we have heightened all safety protocols to ensure the best experience possible for each patient.”

Zepf Center is following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines and have implemented several measures in their withdrawal management/detox unit to ensure a safe space for individuals seeking recovery, including:

  • COVID screenings completed prior to patient admission
  • Individual rooms
  • Ample supply of personal, protective, equipment (PPE)
  • Social distancing guidelines in place

  • Temperature checks completed upon arrival
  • Necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) in place
  • Trainings completed on COVID-19

  • Treated with EnviroShield – a medical grade disinfectant that adheres and bonds to surfaces protecting against and killing bacteria and viruses for up to 6 months.
  • Enhanced cleaning protocols implemented

Zepf Center has been a behavioral health leader in the community for nearly 40 years and is prepared to meet the challenges associated with COVID-19 in order to create a safe space for recovery for the individuals we are privileged to care for. In addition to withdrawal management, Zepf Center continues to provide critical methadone and other medication assisted services. Zepf Center is certified by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) International and supported by the Mental Health and Recovery Services Board of Lucas County.

Please call our 24-hour Detox Line (419)754-3869 today for more information on admission. HOPE BEGINS HERE.
