U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) joined Ohio law enforcement and an addiction treatment provider after securing major funding to combat the opioid epidemic in Ohio.

Senator Sherrod Brown invited Zepf Center CEO Deb Flores to his Toledo press conference today. The Senator introduced legislation targeted at stopping dangerous drugs like fentanyl from entering the country. States hit hardest will be first in line for Opioid Funding - including Ohio. Flores told the Toledo Blade that “at least 10 percent of 30,000 people who underwent urinalysis testing last year tested positive for fentanyl.”
