Family Support Meetings

Family support meetings at the Zepf Center are being held twice, weekly: at Ashland, 6:00 pm, on Tuesdays and at Central, 7:30 am, on Wednesdays. These meetings last for about an hour. Below is a sample agenda:

6:00 pm or 7:30 am - Begin meeting
Welcome all
Ground rules: Start on time, end on time
No one is wrong – just different opinions
Sign in – for anonymity, attendee may use first name and last initial. Must include relationship to the addicted person and what his/her drug of choice is.
Refreshments
Bathrooms – location(s)
Purpose of Meeting: to help loved ones deal with the matter of addiction.
Introductions – first name
My background(only if new people)
Open discussion: Are methadone and suboxone just trading one drug for another?
Plans for next meeting: Fentanyl – what is it?
Dismiss and invite back at 7:00 pm or 8:30 am

HPOG SUCCESS STORY
