Alcohol Awareness Month 2016

Each April since 1987, the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Inc. (NCADD) has sponsored Alcohol Awareness Month to increase public awareness and understanding, reduce stigma and encourage local communities to focus on alcoholism and alcohol-related issues.


Serve Up An Ace: Tennis Clinic Opportunities

 New to the Zepf Center's Tennis Fundraiser, Serve Up An Ace, Luke and Murphy Jensen will be available for personal clinics! Luke and Murphy Jensen were 1993 French Open Double Champions. Three clinics are currently being offered; to see details, please review the flyer within. Additionally, a Junior Clinic is available for junior players ages 10 and up lead by both Murphy and Luke Jensen.


March is Problem Gambling Awareness Month - Have the Conversation!

Be 1 in a Million Campaign

The start of 2016 has been an exciting time for the National Council. With the announcement of their “Be 1 in a Million” campaign, they have their sights set on an ambitious goal: one million people trained in Mental Health First Aid. The Zepf Center has recently joined that movement!


Health Care Career Development Grant Announced By Zepf Center

NetWORK Division of Zepf Center has received a five year 15 million dollar Healthcare Professional Opportunity Grant (HPOG) from the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to empower low income individuals to obtain education and training needed to enter and advance in the health care field, announced by Jennifer Moses, CEO of the Zepf Center.

Portman Hosted Drug Addiction Forum at Zepf Center

On Friday, November 20, 2015, U.S. Senator Rob Portman (R-Ohio) visited the Zepf Center in Toledo to meet with Ohioans in long-term recovery from drug addiction. Portman was joined by local officials and representatives from a number of drug rehabilitation programs in Northwest Ohio.

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) named Zepf Center as the award recipient for an $800,000 Emergency Response for Suicide Prevention (COVID-19 ERSP)
