Group Services

ADULT CSP GROUPS

STRENGTHS IN ACTION :   A positive and motivational approach for helping people develop and work on skills for daily living, learning proactive ways to deal with stress and coping with symptoms of mental illness. Help build supports for pursuing goals while building self esteem.

PLANNING FOR SUCCESS: Covers topics related to obtaining and maintaining employment. Helping consumers who are interested in working eliminate barriers to employment.  Assist consumers with coping strategies and developing motivation while pursuing vocational goals. Learn how working may affect your benefits and navigate the resources available in the community. 

RECOVERY IS POSSIBLE:  A psycho-educational support group that provides a  caring, informative, creative and productive environment to discuss mental illness and addiction issues.  

TIME OUT FOR MEN; A men's relationship group focusing on exploring gender specific issues. This will include intimacy, social and cultural beliefs as well as interacting with the opposite sex. This is intended for a young male audience. 

TIME OUT FOR ME: This group is for women (40 +) focusing on exploring women's issues, intimacy, social and cultural beliefs as well as discussing the issues many women face today.

BUDGET BUSTERS:  A group designed to help people who maybe on a fixed or limited income. Assisting consumers with their budgets and making the most of their money. Learn valuable community resources as well as learn about SSI/SSDI benefits.

CONTEMPORARY WOMEN'S ISSUES: This is a group for women 25 and under who are interested in obtaining and maintaining the skills to increase positive lifestyle choices. This group will run 8 weeks or until the members have mastered the skills provided.

LIFE MANAGEMENT SKILLS:  Educational support group which focuses on a wide variety of daily skills which include, healthy living, budgeting, coping with stress, goal attainment, self esteem and assertiveness building.

HEALTHY CHOICES: Learn effective and positive coping skills for everyday challenges. Focus on making healthy choices and turning them into healthy habits!

ALTERNATIVE COPING SKILLS: A group designed to allow your creative side out while learning effective ways to cope with anxieties and stress that situations may bring.

CREATING CONNECTIONS:  A short term problem solving group designed to bridge service gaps.

COPING WITH EMOTIONS:  This group is designed to talk about different emotions and how to express them appropriately.
