Thank you to the sponsors, volunteers, and contributors who helped make our
first fundraiser a success!
905 Nebraska
November 30, 2007
The purchase of 905 Nebraska was completed on November 26, 2007. Marilyn Ryder and our Security/Maintenance staff are working hard to build some
additional offices and get the painting and cleaning completed so we can move in. We anticipate all of the work to be completed and to move out of Hamilton in
late January.
Some staff have voiced concerns about potential safety issues. From a police
perspective, the Nebraska site is a safer location then 525 Hamilton St. We will
be working closely with Ron Navaro, the Captain at the Scott Park Station
regarding any safety issues that arise.
The safety of clients and staff is vital to the agency and we appreciate the
advice of the professionals in the area. We will be sure to advise staff of safety
measures taken. Some staff may be anxious to see our new facility. We will
schedule some times when you can see the building and get those times
posted. We will begin notifying clients as soon as a move date is set, but you
are welcome to share the news. Congratulations to Zepf Center on our new
acquisition!
