She is a native of
Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Matthew and Elizabeth McCarthy; she was
bom on July 6, 1903, the oldest of six children.
She attended St.
Mary's Grade School in Hyde Park, Cincinnati and St. Elizabeth's In
Norwood, Ohio.
She is a graduate of
Norwood High School and The Miller Business College. She was employed as
a bookkeeper at First National Bank, Norwood.
She was the wife of
Arthur L. Zepf (deceased), also a native of Cincinnati, the Mother of
Arthur, Jr. and the grandmother of three grandsons.
