Child & Adolescent Substance Abuse

Substance abuse treatment services are for youth age 12-17 with a diagnosis of alcohol and other drugs or co-occurring disorders.
Child/Adolescent Substance Abuse

Zepf Center's substance abuse treatment services for youth are designed using the current best practice and evidence-based approaches to the treatment of drug and alcohol problems for youth.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

At Zepf Center we offer Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP) using the Seven Challenges Program.  The Seven Challenges Program is designed specifically for adolescents with drug problems, to motivate a decision and commitment to change and to support success in implementing the desired changes. The Program simultaneously helps young people address their drug problems as well as their co-occurring life skill deficits, situational problems, and psychological problems.  IOP meets 3 times each week and length of treatment will vary based on individual needs.  IOP also includes ongoing assessment, individual counseling, case management, and crisis intervention as needed.  Additional services include drug screening and linkage to community support systems.

Non Intensive Outpatient Program (NIOP)

Non Intensive Outpatient Program (NIOP) also incorporates the Seven Challenges framework and offers a step down to those completing the IOP program or those needing less intensive services.  NIOP meets weekly in a group or individual format based on the needs of the youth.  NIOP also includes ongoing assessment, individual counseling, case management, and crisis intervention as needed.  Additional services include drug screening and linkage to community support systems.
